They say he's still campaigning, a task which many presidents discontinue after elected into office. Some have said that his ideas are ludicrous. Yet for some reason I can't even begin to explain why this apparent economic conditions now supersedes the need for change. It is difficult not to believe that our economy is failing, especially considering how much media time is now devoted to this issue.
But wait...
Isn't this blog just like any other form of media? In fact, this blog could potentially reach more people at a given moment than television channels like CNN and MSNBC could.
By criticizing the media it appears that I have also contributed. No matter which way we talk about it, it remains a highly publicized issue. If the agenda were to make the economy an important political issue, then it really doesn't matter which side you argue. Not to mention, the most popular stances as depicted in the media advocate some type of change in the current economy regardless of the party it fits in.
Looks like the old saying still hold true: No publicity is bad publicity.
And this was supposed to just be about President Obama!
